What can you do?

 

1.     Have your County, City, Township, Union, or Organization, pass a Resolution that bans the use of CYANIDE in Michigan mining. Sign the PETITION.

 

2.     Educate your family, neighbors, friends on the environmental impacts to our County metallic mineral mining will have.

 

 

3.     Write letters to your State Senator, State Representative, DNR/DEQ requesting a mine is not permitted in this County.  Attend your local County, City, Township Board meetings and be heard. Demand Public Meetings.

 

4.     Write letters to the local newspapers.

 

 

5.     Join the FRONT 40 committee and become active! BE INFORMED.

We are having bumper stickers and yard signs printed.  These can be purchased for a small donation to cover printing costs.  We are asking the whole County to get the message out and that message is:

 

This County is MINE, don’t mine it !

 

If you are not a resident of Menominee County, but own land here, we would appreciate a signed approval allowing the FRONT 40 to use your land for our yard signs.
