Why did the group choose “FRONT 40” as its name?

 

The drilling company announced at the March 21^st meeting they were calling their project the “Back Forty Joint Venture”.   Your committee decided there could be a message sent - we are on the FRONT 40 and will continue to get our message of a ‘clean environment’ and the impacts metallic mineral mining will bring to the County and State.
